Letter #32

Dec. 2012

Hello Steven D. Jennings,

Mail Call! I know you’re smiling right now. I can sense it. I’m glad I bring a smile to that handsome face of yours. Well, my nephew just came in and I promised him that we’d make some cookies. So I’ll put one of my poems in this envelope for you and I’ll write more sweet love later. Mwah! I love you oh so very much!

I was never asked my opinion
nor if I liked my religion.

I never knew I could decide
what rules I wanted to abide.

I’ve never felt sure,
but was told it was true and pure.

Religion is how I was raised
but there are so many – I’m dazed.

Church was every Sunday
I’ve known no other way.

I love you!

I Miss You,
