Proverbs Chapter 11

It is without doubt that the scriptures within Proverbs speak the truth about human behavior.

Don’t be fooled by the use of figurative language. Be wise and acquire the wisdom as you absorb the truth.

I have lived in the dark and in the light. I have lived with and without the scriptures. Many would call this living with Jesus and living without Jesus.

To me, my Jesus and my God is the scriptures So when I refer to them, I’m referring to the scriptures in a practical sense.

As I acquire wisdom and knowledge through Jesus, I learn how to avoid the pitfalls of folly. This leads to a healthy mind, a healthy spirit, and great success throughout life.

This is my understanding. This is my truth. This is my life. This is how I live.

We’ll let the results speak for itself.

A kind man benefits himself, but a cruel man brings trouble on himself. Proverbs 11:17

Today I will focus on being a kind man. I will go out of my way to perform acts of kindness.

A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed. Proverbs 11:25

Recently I’ve been getting requests from my readers asking if they can use some of my content for their blog. My reply is, “I’d be honored to share content with you. Feel free. We are working for the same cause…to enlighten the lives of others.”

  1. Steven, you are surely in one of the toughest places to show kindness, if you can do it on the inside, what excuse have I on the outside not to? Yes the wisdom in Proverbs is powerful, one of my favorite verses in there is, ‘ when a man’s way pleases the Lord, He makes even his enemies be at peace with him ‘. Sorry I don’t remember the chapter and verse, may your ways please Him, and He will keep you, is my prayer for you .
